New headstock configuration...4 Grover Mini-locking Bass-side Tuners for strings
3, 4, 5, & 6 and 2 Grover 4:1 ratio Banjo Tuners for strings 1 & 2. The sense of this
arrangement is that the Tuners all face the Artist while playing the Instrument, and that
the .09 & .16 ga. strings wind easily and quickly on the Banjo Tuners with no danger of
slippage while playing. (This arrangement makes adjustment of the Tune easier...no
reaching under as with Round-robbin tuning of ordinary Instruments.)

The Body was sprayed with Nitro-cellulose Lacquer and Abalone Shell Binding.
