Welcome to our Burrell Guitars web site. Here you will see our complete selection
of Ergonomic Guitars. These guitars are made to conform to your body, as well as the
natural movement of your hand as you move up and down the fret board. These guitars are easy-to-play
and hand made by Leo L. Burrell himself, either to his specifications, (the guitars on the web site store), or
to whatever specifications you would like to have built into a guitar made by us. We can even convert your own
personal guitar with the patented Burrell 3 Board Neck, (Check the Gallery and see the Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster
styles). Burrell Guitars would like to make your “dream guitar” come true. We make Acoustic,
Electric, Hollow-body and Solid-body classes of guitars. We can even mix up the wood types on the bodies. If you see
a particular guitar that you would like built to your specifications, don”t worry about the price, the price is
fixed, no up charges and no hidden charges to build it. Just e-mail us here,
with your specifications or requests.
Our guitars are built by classifications, ie., battleships are built by classifications,
power plants are built by classifications, however the next one is improved upon but still in the same class. Here
we do the same thing with our guitars.
We have several classifications:
- Challenge Class Acoustic
- Venture Class Acoustic
- Discover Class Acoustic
- Bluegrass
- 3/4 Hollow-body Jazz
- 4/4 Hollow-body Jazz
- Burrell Solid-body
- Styles (Your guitar body with our Patented Burrell 3 board Neck)
All of our guitars are made with the patented Burrell 3 Board Neck and guaranteed
not to warp for life. The strings are in plane with the fret board and body, however the strings are not in plane,
(skew alignment), with each other. The materials that can be specified are:
- Curly Maple
- Ash
- Cherry
- Rosewood
The fret board materials to choose from are:
- Curly Maple
- Ebony
- Rosewood
Our fret boards come standard with Side Position Dots (Optional round ¼”
Mother-of-Pearl face dots). The nuts are variable, (1 5/8” to 1 7/8” your chioce).
Be sure to take some time to browse through our gallery and our online store.
We’re sure you’ll find the perfect guitar to fit your needs.
While you’re here we would like to invite you take a brief tour of our workshop. See a few of the innovative
tools Leo has devised in order to build these beautiful guitars. In the Testimonials, see what people who have
actually played our guitars have to say. In the Links, check out the reviews and commentaries made by various
.coms, ie: N.A.M.M, Guitar Players, Building the Ergonomical Guitar, Harmony-Central,...and others. We would
also like to invite you to stop by, our retail store (if you are local) and take the opportunity to play one of
these unique guitars. Thank you for visiting us, hope to see you again soon.
